2010 KEN-WO MEN’S NIGHT

 

LEON’S PLASMA TV & COORS LIGHT FRIDGE DRAW

    • Thanks to our returning 2010 sponsor, LEON’S FURNITURE, we will once again be drawing for a 50 inch plasma television at the end of the season.  The details of the draw and eligibility are as follows:
      • players will receive 1 ballot for each men’s night they participate in throughout the season for a chance to win the tv or fridge
      • the same individual can win both prizes
      • to be eligible for the draw, the individual MUST play in at least 8 of the 16 scheduled men’s night events throughout the season.  This number will be reduced if there are rain outs throughout the season.  If there are 2 rain outs the eligibility number will be reduced to 6.
      • to be eligible to win the draw prizes scheduled to take place at the closing men’s night on August 25th, the lucky individual MUST be present during the draw.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
      • The lucky winner will receive the television at the end of the 2010 golf season.

 

CIBC WOOD GUNDY RINGER BOARD

    • Thanks to our 2010 sponsor, Darrell Cook of CIBC Wood Gundy, there will be a season long ringer board for men’s night.
    • Your ringer board score is the 18 hole score / total of “your best gross score on each hole” throughout the entire season.
    • There will be 4 divisions for the ringer board for the season with the top 3 players in each division winning a prize at the end of the season.
    • The ringer board competition will end at the closing men’s night on August 25th – all scores up to and including the last night will count towards your season long ringer board score.

 

WEEKLY 70 / 30 DRAW

    • Tickets will be sold each week at the bar following play. 
    • The winner will receive 70% of the pot, in cash, with the remaining 30% set aside to offset meal costs for the closing men’s night.
    • The lucky weekly winner does NOT have to be present to win.
    • The draw will take place on the night of purchase with individual ticket stubs having names attached to the tickets. 
    • Price of tickets – 2 For $1 or 5 for $2 – purchase at the bar.

 

WEEKLY Entry Fee & Breakdown

Entry Fee - $10

Divisional Prizes - $5

Two’s Competition - $2 (NOT by division)

Beer Ticket - $1.50

KEEPER Pot - $1.50

 

KEEPER POT – This entire amount will be tracked throughout the season and used to purchase prizes through the Ken-Wo pro shop.  These prizes will be awarded at the closing men’s night on August 25th.  These prizes will be awarded via a LIVE DRAW on the closing night in conjunction with the TV and Fridge draw.  To be eligible to win prizes purchased from funds in the “keeper pot” a person MUST have participated in at least 8 men’s nights throughout the season.  This number will be reduced by the number of rain dates.

 

CLOSING MEN’S NIGHT

COST - $10 plus meal

- price of meal, and actual meal, to be determined and based on 70/30 draw throughout the season

- must have played in at least 5 men’s nights throughout season to be eligible for meal discount

Wednesday, August 25th

18 Hole SHOTGUN Start @ 3:00 PM

NOTE:  Closing Men’s Night is schedule for August 25th; however, weekly men’s night will still run until the middle of September.

 

SCORE CARDS

ALL score cards are to be turned into the bar following play.  The score cards MUST include the following information

- FIRST and LAST names Printed on the card

- Signed cards to attest scores as prizes are being awarded based on the score cards.

- Legible numbers  

            NOTE:  The responsibility to turn in the scorecard lies solely with the players in the group.  If a scorecard is NOT turned into the bar following play on Wednesday, the scores will NOT be included in the scoring.  The onus is not on the pro shop staff, bar staff or men’s night committee to retrieve cards so PLEASE turn them into the bar following play
