Welcome to Senior Mens 2024
Welcome to the 2024 season for Senior Mens golf.
To our new members, great to have you on board and to our returning members, nice to have you back for another year.
Senior Mens is a relaxed, play at your pace golf. We meet most Wednesdays for a round, you can play all 18 or only 9 holes, with different members each week. You can tell us if you prefer an early or late tee time and if you plan to use a cart.
We also mix in some interesting and fun matches from time to time. This gives you a chance to play in a group format so see who has the best team result.
Each week, we also award club credit prizes for those who have done well. All handicaps have a chance to win every week and we also recognize who has done well over the whole season.
We are planning to have some “Play with the Pros” sessions. These are free lessons from our club pros who donate their time and give you some game improvement tips around the course.
Highlights every year is our Senior Mens club championship and our season long Babcock Cup. The Babcock is a match play event and a great opportunity to challenge your game in a different format. Make sure to sign up or ask one of us about it.
Senior Mens dues are still only $20.00. This can be paid with Brandy in the business office anytime. If you are not sure that you paid ask one of the executives or the business office at the club.
We have some new Executive Members this year. It was great to see so many step-up and be part of the group. Special thanks to outgoing Executive Ken Giffin, Greg Archibald and Dennis del Giudice. Welcome to new members, Jeff McBean, Chris Sharp and Richard Lee.
So, with our new bunkers, it may seem like a new course. We are certainly looking forward to the improvements. Thanks for being a part of Senior Mens and have a great golf season.
