Club Opening Reception:
The Ken-Wo Club Opening is a reception that usually occurs early in the season. It marks the official opening of Ken-Wo Golf Club each year. The Opening is an opportunity for members and guest to enjoy an evening together in a social atmosphere often with a variety of appetizers, cocktails and entertainment. It is often a “come as you are” event with no registration required. Please watch for posters around the club each year for information on this event.
Mother’s Day Brunch:
Ken-Wo Golf Club shows their appreciation for all moms each year by offering a special brunch on Mother’s Day. There is a special menu for this events and requires a reservation. Canada Day BBQ on the Deck:
Each year Ken-Wo celebrates Canada Day with a BBQ on the Deck. Everyone is welcome to come to this event with no registration required. Ken-Wo is decorated for Canada Day, showing our Canadian Pride with a cake cutting at noon. Come join us for this great social event and wear your reds and whites!
9, Dine & Unwined:
This is a great social fun event that takes place on various Friday Nights throughout our golf season. It consists of a reception, 9-holes of golf and a post-golf meal. The reception starts at 4:30 pm with golf starting at 5:30 pm. Specific information on meals will be provided a few weeks prior to the event. It is open to all members and guests, who must register and pay in the pro shop or business office no later than noon on the Thursday prior to the day of the event; Draw will be done on the Friday of the event. Groups will play in 6somes with various “FUN” formats throughout the season. Closest to the Hole prizes for men and women will also be available each night. There is a registration cost with this event so please watch for posters around the club and via emails throughout the season. Sponsored by Windsor Home Hardware.
Club Closing Reception:
The Ken-Wo Club Closing is a reception that usually occurs in early October. It marks the closing of Ken-Wo Golf Club each year even though the course often stays open longer into the season for golf. The closing is an opportunity for members and guests to enjoy an evening together in a social atmosphere often with a variety of appetizers, cocktails and entertainment. There are several presentations throughout the evening including the Club Champions of the year and other awards. There is usually a registration or sign up for this event so keep an eye out for posters and emails.
