2016 Canadian Women's Amateur Championship


2016 AMChamps HostClubLogo Print Am WomThe members and staff of Ken-Wo Golf Club, along with the Host Committee, are very proud to have played host to the 2016 Canadian Women's Amateur Championship. The event that took place from July 26-29 was a memorable experience for members, volunteers, staff and guests.

The quality of play was impressive to say the least. The Women's Course Record was tied twice during the event!

A heartfelt thank you to all of the sponsors who graciously supported this National championship. To all the players, thank you for coming and enjoying the Annapolis Valley and our treasured golf club. To the volunteers, thank you. Your hard work enabled this event to be world class. Three of our own members contested in the. Darcy Fuller, Heather Mclean and Meghan Mclean all soaked in the experience of a lifetime - a National Championship at their home course. Darcy and Heather did not make the cut, while Meghan continued her steady play and finished T52. We're very proud of all three of these girls. Way to go!

The eventual winner was Hye-jin Choi of Paju-si, Korea scorching the course over four days at a total score of 271, 9under par.
